The Railway is open to the public on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00am, and the last train runs at approximately 3:45pm. We are also open on most Bank and Public Holidays and some additional days during school holidays. Exceptionally, due to bad weather, staff shortages or unplanned maintenance work, the Railway may have to close without warning. Therefore, to avoid disappointment, please call the number below after 10:00am on the day you intend to visit in order to check if the Railway is open.
Ticket prices are: £1.50 for children aged from 2 to 13 years of age; £2.00 for adults
and £1.50 for Senior Citizens (those aged 60+). Children MUST be accompanied by

Due to the need to undertake urgent maintenance work caused by the recent bad weather, the Railway will be closed on Wednesdays until the end of February 2016. It will continue to open at weekends however, due to the possibility of bad weather, if you need to be certain that the Railway will be open, call the Ticket Office on 02392 413324 after 10:00am on the day you intend to visit.
Exceptionally, on Wednesday 17th February, as it’s Half-Term, the Railway will be open.
Sunday 6 March is Mothering Sunday. On that day all Mums travel free if accompanied by their children.
